At Canine Connection we make training easier by laying a solid foundation for you through our specialized training programs.
Our Family Foundations Program is the ideal training program for you and your family if you are looking for a well mannered and well behaved companion at home and out on walks around town, in parks or on leash hikes.
With the flexibility to choose whether you want your dog to board with us the entire time or if you want your dog to come for the day and be picked up at night and on the weekends, or even a combination of both, we can accommodate your preference.
In this program we are going to work on:
- Crate Training and House Breaking (If Needed)
- Basic Obedience Cues - Sit, Down, Stay, Come and Place
- Working with Distance, Duration and Distractions
- Daily Socialization to Dogs and People
- Socialization to New Places, Sights and Sounds
- Confidence Building
- Loose Leash Walking
We will meet with you, the dog parents, once a week to show you and teach you what we have been working on that week so you can learn what to do with your dog when you bring them home with you at the end of the program.

- A Nutrition Consultation - We'll put your dog on the right food for their age and energy level so they can thrive in their training and at home.
