At Canine Connection, we do dog boarding just a little bit differently to what our competitors do. Where most facilities try and cram as many kennels and runs into their facility as possible, we decided to give ours a more at home environment with custom built kennels, a calming color scheme, relaxing music and pet friendly essential oils diffused.
Your dogs are put on a proven schedule that ensures they are getting both enough physical and mental exercise throughout the day as well as enough rest and relaxation. When you go on vacation and can't take your dog with you, you can rest assured that your dog is getting a full resort like treatment from our dedicated staff.
If your dog is staying with us for the first time we do require that you set up a minimum of a half day of daycare so we can get to know your dog, their needs and to make sure that they are going to be comfortable in our environment while you are away.
Boarding fee covers the day of drop off regardless of what time you drop off your dog and up to 10am the day you pick up your dog. If you pick up your dog after 10am a $28 daycare fee will be added to your reservation, with the exception of Sundays due to our Sunday hours. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation.
When your dog is boarding with us, please remember the following with you when you drop off your dog:
At Canine Connection, our top priority is the health and safety of your dog. Before you bring your dog to us for their appointment or reservation, please make sure your dog is up to date for their age on their DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations and that we have a copy of those on file.
If you are getting your dog up to date on vaccines before coming in to us, please allow up to 48 hours for the vaccine to get into your dogs system. If your dog is not up to date and/or we do not have records on file we reserve the right to refuse service to you and your dog.
We ask that if your dog has shown any signs or symptoms of any sickness within 24 hours before your appointment/reservation, that you please call and cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Please be aware, when doing any service with us, even though we take all the precautions that we can by requiring up to date vaccines, cleaning and sanitizing daily and running air purifiers, there is still a chance that your dog may get sick while at our facility. This is because we cannot control what owners do with their dogs outside of our facility. Most canine infections have long incubation periods of usually 7 to 10 days before symptoms start to show. If a dog has come into contact with an infected dog or their bodily fluids, and then comes into our facility there is a chance that that dog could then pass infections on to other dogs in our facility. The best way to prevent this is to stay away from dog parks, make sure your dog is only interacting with other healthy dogs and get a fecal test done on your dog before coming in for boarding, daycare or training.
